What Yoga Can Do For You
You do not need any yoga experience to join a Yoga2calm lesson. The aim of every lesson is to support each individual to reduce physical, emotional and mental stress so that they can simply rest in the moment.
Here you will find information about regular weekly and monthly classes in Stockport and Macclesfield. One off events and 1-2-1 therapy sessions.

Hello welcome to the Yoga2calm.
My name is Kay Locke and I founded Yoga2calm in 2009. Yoga2calm specialises in working with adults, children, families and Carers affected by special needs and mental health challenges.
You do not need any yoga experience to join a Yoga2calm lesson. The aim of every lesson is to support each individual to reduce physical, emotional and mental stress so that they can simply rest in the moment. Together we share and learn a tool kit of strategies and technique to help us focus and calm at any time.
We move to release tension built up in the joint of the body and encourage healthy blood flow.
We explore where our body is in space support good balance skills and gently work on our core stability.
We breath together to release tension from the nervous system and reduce the levels of naturally occurring stress hormones present in our bodies.
We relax together to promote wellbeing and community.
